GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
 
HistoryMaker Homes was founded in 1949 by the Mitchell family, and our current C.E.O., Nelson Mitchell, is fourth generation. We have three distinct brands – HISTORY MAKER HOMES, RENDITION HOMES, and RENDITION LUXURY. We office in Grapevine, Texas, in a beautiful 28,000 sq. ft. building designed to be enjoyed by our team members and guests. The Closing Assistant will assist the Manager and Coordinator with contracts and closings by performing clerical duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, and other duties may be assigned)
  • Updating sales orders as necessary
  • Completes all Home Warranty Applications prior to closing date
  • Verifies and enters Realtor Commissions on Sales Order prior to closing date
  • Completes a ‘closing confirmation’ on each home prior to close
  • Manually updates the Closing Schedule; daily
  • Distributes  executed contracts, change orders and builder docs to all parties 
  • Scanning documents as needed
  • Enters all notes and relevant information from Backlog meeting each Monday

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education/ Experience: Two-four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Other Requirements: Valid Texas Driver’s License, Personal Insurance Liability Policy with Limits of 100/100/100.  Must pass yearly DMV background check and provide renewal auto insurance certificate.
